• Are the hats lined?

  Our hats are not lined, but they do have cotton hat bands in the crown.

• Are the hats waterproof?

  While the hats are water-repellent, they are not waterproof. We typically do not recommend that you waterproof your hat, if you would like to apply a waterproofing product, we recommend testing the product on a small patch on the interior of the hat first.

• Are your shoes waterproof/water resistant?

  As with all of our products, our shoes will be resilient if they experience small amounts of wetness. Our leather boots are not completely waterproof or water resistant. • Can my shoes be resoled?

  Welted Chelsea Boots and Welted Brooklyn Boots are constructed with a true Goodyear welting process and can be resoled. All women’s styles are cemented and have decorative stitching - meaning they cannot be resoled.

• Do the boots have removable insoles?

  The boots do not have removable insoles. If you need to add inserts/orthotic insoles we would recommend going up a full size.

• Do the hats pill?

  Good quality wool felt does not create pilling. If it should attract lint, we recommend to brush it off with a horsehair brush or a lint roller. In the warehouse, the cardboard boxes sometimes release paper particles, so we brush them before shipping them out.

• Do you have wide fit boots for women?

  While we do not offer wide fit styles, the women's boots are all “EE Width.” In the US, shoe sizes come in up to 9 widths- AAA being the most narrow, and EEE being the widest, making EE a wide fit. • Do your shoes have arch support?

  Our shoes were not designed to focus on arch support, so it is not a dominant quality in our footwear. Our design focus was on overall comfort, and most of our shoes can be expected to have a bit of a wider fit and additional cushion in the insole.

• How are your shoe sizing guides measured?

  The measurements for the shoe sizing guide are taken from the inside foot bed.

• How do I care for my hat?

  Lint rolling or a hat brush should be enough for everyday maintenance. In the instance of a misshapen brim, steaming is the best option to straighten out any imperfections.   It is important for you to measure the circumference around your head where you want the hat to sit. All hat measurements will be in cm, and it is recommended to take into consideration how you typically plan to wear your hair with the hats, as this will affect the measurements slightly.
